Yes — and home moves have the most of it. Bed frames (king platforms, bunk beds, cribs), sectional sofas, IKEA wardrobes and PAX units, dining tables with leaves, cribs, and crib-to-toddler conversions — all come apart at your old home and go back together at the new one. Included in every move at no extra charge.
Studios and 1-bedroom apartments: 2 movers is usually enough. 2–3 bedrooms: 3 movers. 4+ bedrooms or homes with lots of heavy furniture: 4 movers. We'll recommend the right crew size based on your inventory.
Yes, tailored to home rooms. Wardrobe boxes keep closets on the hanger (no re-folding), dish packs with double-walled cells protect plates and stemware, TV boxes for flat screens, mattress bags for every bed, and picture boxes for framed art. Moving blankets and shrink wrap are included on every move; specialty packing materials available on request or included in a full-service pack.
Yes — and home setups often have the tricky ones: an upright piano in a second-floor walk-up, a gun safe in a basement, a slate pool table in a bonus room. For pianos and safes over 500 lbs, or anything that needs a board/skate down stairs, we schedule a free on-site walkthrough so we bring the right crew size and equipment. Tell us about any unusual items when you book.
Aim for 2 weeks ahead for standard moves, and 3–4 weeks ahead for summer moves (June–August is peak). We can often accommodate last-minute moves — call us and we'll make it work.
Yes — stairs and long carries are included in our hourly rate on most moves. Buildings with more than 3 flights of stairs or loading distance over 75 ft may add time to the move, which we discuss upfront.
